We have been silent for too long.
We are still processing this unfathomable loss.
We are here to thank you, Judith Malina.
Approaching The Flame
I have no courage
Let me “go forth” as a coward
Scared to death in my heart
As I approach the flame,
While my brave feet
Carry me forward
And I am glad to serve
The best and not the worst in me.
At Judith's burial, her son Garrick Beck said that she hadn't died or departed, but that she had dispersed and now lived on in each and everyone of us. We now draw all our courage from Judith...to become our best selves and to create the best world we can imagine together, following her brave little footsteps, carrying each other forward.
