John Gasper

A rather fresh fruit on the Living Theatre Tree, John joined The Living this summer as an intern and is explicitly excited to be partaking in his first show with the company this winter, The History of The World, by Judith Malina. He is a writer, actor and musician foremost, and plays bass, guitar and vox in Black Elk Speaks, an experimental ritualistic folk band sort of. Check em out here: www.speakingelk.com He is also a driving creative force in The St. Fortune Collective, a theatrical and performance group dedicated to exploring and destroying the boundaries of theater and art. Their most recent production of "Admiral Snook Has What It Took", by the furious Sibyl Kempson, swept the backyard of the Cho-Chiqq Festival right off its feet.
